such as “The Total Picture: Program Design, Evaluation and
Writing a Grant Proposal,” which is intended
to teach senior agency staff how to evaluate
and organize
the substance of a program in preparation
for writing a grant proposal.
Diagnostic Workshops: This series of sessions is for agency
executives who first complete a self-diagnostic
questionnaire that is designed to identify strengths and
weaknesses in their organization. Participants are grouped
according to the size of their agency and their requirements
and assigned to a track of workshop sessions that apply to
their needs.
Topics covered include: when to consider a strategic plan,
building a board, creating a funding strategy, building
evaluation into new and existing programs, and assessing
your technology needs and using technology to your
advantage.
